This role supports golf operations by preparing carts for use, assisting guests with loading and unloading equipment, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment at the cart staging area.Essential Functions and Duties:Provide professional, friendly, and timely service to all guests and golfersClean, sanitize, and inspect golf carts to ensure they are in safe, working condition before and after useStage golf carts in an organized, accessible manner based on tee times and guest trafficAssist guests with loading and unloading golf bags, equipment, and personal itemsMonitor battery levels, fuel (if applicable), and report any maintenance needs to supervisors or golf course mechanicsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, staging area, and nearby facilitiesCollect and return used carts to the barn area, ensuring proper storage and charging procedures are followedFollow all safety and operational guidelines for cart use and guest interactionSupport the golf team with additional duties such as picking the driving range, cleaning clubs, or assisting with tournaments and eventsProvide clear, courteous directions and assistance to guests around the golf facilityReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Required Experience, Education, and Skills:Strong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periodsAbility to drive and operate golf carts safely and responsiblyDependable, team-oriented, and self-motivatedMust be able to lift, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs (e.g., golf bags, carts)Valid driver’s license may be required based on location and local lawsWork Environment:Work is performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, rain, and windFrequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting required throughout the shiftInteraction with guests, golf professionals, and other team members in a fast-paced, service-oriented environmentFlexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, and early morning or evening shifts based on golf course operationsOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
