Corporate Controller

This highly visible leadership opportunity offers the chance to partner directly with executive leadership while supporting international manufacturing and sales operations.In this role, you will lead the global month-end close and consolidation process, oversee financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards, support audit and SOX initiatives, drive reporting standardization across international subsidiaries, and play a key role in systems and process improvement initiatives.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting leader seeking a high-impact role with strong visibility and long-term growth potential.Essential Duties & FunctionsDirect and manage month, quarter, and year-end close processes for reporting locations, including analysis of variances, earnings, and spending against forecast, budget, and latest projections.Prepare monthly financial performance reports and presentation materials for leadership, as well as ad hoc analyses as requested.Manage and lead monthly reporting cycle meetings, including agenda development, presentations, and follow-up action items.Ensure global compliance with the internal control framework and annual audit processes.Provide insight into key financial drivers and recommend process improvements or corrective actions as needed.Partner with planning, supply chain, and operations teams to manage and achieve defined inventory metrics and targets.Direct and manage the global annual standard cost-setting processActively support the capital expenditure process, including financial benefit analysis, payback calculations, cash flow impact assessments, and spending forecasts.Maintain consistent financial and non-financial reporting standards across all global subsidiaries.Manage and review the accurate and timely preparation of quarterly unaudited financial reporting packages; lead the global annual audit, including financial statement consolidation for all reporting locations in compliance with US GAAP.Lead the IFRS transition initiative for the organization.Lead the global financial reporting consolidation platform, including system growth and expansion initiatives.Support all internal, external, and SOX-related reporting and control requirements.Ensure timely completion of account reconciliations and internal controls globally.Drive continuous improvement of month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and overall business decision support processes.Develop, revise, and establish policies and procedures to improve global financial operations.Provide decision support to key business partners and leadership in strategic decision-making processes.Support calculation and reporting of key working capital metrics, including inventory turns, days on hand, reserve requirements, as well as receivable and payable metrics.Assist in the preparation and negotiation of share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, and joint venture agreements for M&A transactions, including legal entity creation, deal structuring, and coordination with international legal counsel.Serve as the Treasury leader and global bank account manager.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual segment reporting for management and financial reporting purposes.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; Master's in Business Administration preferred.10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in financial operations, US GAAP, and operational excellence.CPA license preferred.Deep knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).Experience in manufacturing operations environments.Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop direct and indirect reports.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Willingness to travel internationally.For confidential consideration, please email careers@forgesc.com or apply directly!
