Operations Manager
*Job Summary*
Laser Access is seeking an experienced *Manufacturing Operations Manager* to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating production, employees, equipment, material flow, and schedules across our CNC machining, laser cutting, fabrication, welding, and assembly operations.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations, production teams, supervisors, and department leads.
* Develop production schedules and priorities to meet customer delivery requirements.
* Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure materials are available to support production.
* Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, labor utilization, and on-time delivery.
* Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, equipment performance, workflow, and capacity.
* Manage employee performance, training, development, hiring, and corrective actions when required.
* Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure operational supplies are available.
* Review production requirements, labor needs, capacity, and output against company goals.
* Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Management to resolve production issues.
* Ensure employees follow drawings, specifications, work instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
*Skills*
* Minimum *5 years of manufacturing leadership experience*.
* Strong background in a *CNC machining and metal fabrication environment*.
* Experience with CNC machining, laser cutting, brake press, MIG/TIG welding, metal finishing, and assembly strongly preferred.
* Proven ability to manage production schedules, employees, equipment, and multiple priorities.
* Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Experience with manufacturing ERP systems and production KPIs preferred.
* High school diploma required; college degree in Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
