There may be additional in-office days for team or company events.Ironclad is hiring a Senior Director of Product Management to lead our Platform team. This role will oversee our infrastructure layerincluding identity and access, core document services, and the foundation platformalong with external integrations and ecosystem services including APIs and MCP. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building products that scale and is a strategic leader who also thrives as a player-coach.What You'll Do:Define and build the infrastructure layer, including identity and access management, core document services for storage and processing, and our foundation platformDesign the data services layer and implement APIs and an MCP server to securely expose our data to trusted partnersOwn the roadmap for and develop connectors to key third-party systems, including SAP and other enterprise platformsDefine a strategy that outlines new bets for Ironclad and what it can unlock for the future of the business based on existing company and product strategyManage, inspire, and build a high-performing team that is able to meaningfully inflect the Ironclad business, explore new opportunities for Ironclad to grow its customer penetration, usage, move into new markets, and/or displace competitorsBe deeply collaborative with EPD, Legal, and GTM teamsQualifications:8+ years of experience delivering innovative and commercially successful platforms5+ years leading product management teamsDemonstrated experience of building scaled API or MCP platforms preferredShipped exemplary work into a large marketEvidence of innovative product-based impacts while lifting the craft of othersEvidence of building a product development culture that can quickly seed, cultivate, or terminate bets based on what's working and what isn'tDeeply understand product and design decisions, drive decision-making alongside the team, identify gaps, delegate appropriatelyExcellent communication skills at all levels of a companyPlayer-coach, with evidence of fostering growth and development in othersSkilled at balancing product innovation and business goals with GTM executionBase Salary Range: $325,000 - $365,000The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate.
