This is a temporary full-time position, that has been authorized to be funded for six (6) full months from hire. This is also non-represented and non-benefited position.What will you do in this position?Performs vegetation control utilizing a basic understanding of trees, shrubs, and noxious weeds common to this area.Maintains right of ways, in a roadside setting, to keep sight distances clear and aesthetically pleasing; performs mowing and line trimming, weeding, mulching, and garbage pickup.Assists with general and preventative street maintenance such as asphalt and concrete repairs.Perform flagger duties to maintain safe flow of traffic including setting up cones, road work signs and flags.A successful candidate in this position will:Be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.Ensure clear and efficient communication of information and ideas through diverse communication channels.Develop and utilize collaborative relationships to build informal and formal teams, aiming to achieve team goals.Effectively evaluate and prioritize various tasks, projects, and demands.Openly receive new ideas and other perspectives.Take responsibility for accomplishing goals and achieving quality results.To read the full job description, .About City of Bothell:The City is comprised of 13.6 square miles within both King and Snohomish Counties and is home to 51,760 people (2025).
