We are a moderately sized fire protection contractor, located in the east bay. We are committed to delivering high-quality fire sprinkler installation, repair and tenant improvement services across both commercial and residential markets. We take pride in our craftsmanship, and long-term relationships we build with our clients and crews.The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to own projects from kickoff to closeout. You'll be the point person on job execution — coordinating schedules, managing subcontractors, tracking budgets, and making sure every job gets done right. If you're someone who thrives on accountability, knows the trade inside and out, and can run multiple projects without dropping the ball, we want to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingManage fire sprinkler projects end-to-end across commercial and residential scopes — new installations, repairs, and tenant improvementsConduct job walks to assess scope and support estimatingRead and interpret construction plans and specificationsCoordinate with general contractors, inspectors, and field crews to keep projects on scheduleVerify labor hours, materials, change orders and subcontractor invoicesExplain cost impacts clearly to clients when scope of work changesTrack job costs, schedules, and documentation throughout the project lifecyclePull materials from existing stock, order materials from vendors, coordinate delivery to job sits and update existing stockGive estimates of materials/labor costs for each project when consulting with clientsTroubleshoot field issues quickly on the flyEnsure all work meets applicable fire codes and inspection requirementsCommunicate project status, issues, and updates to stakeholders proactivelyWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience in fire sprinkler project management or a closely related fieldHands-on knowledge of both commercial and residential fire sprinkler systemsExperience with installations, repairs, tenant improvement projects and ITM (Inspection, Testing Maintenance)Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawingsComfortable performing job walks and contributing to the estimating processStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active projectsWorking knowledge of applicable NFPA codes and local fire authority requirements/standard operating proceduresFamiliarity with the review process for plans and permits throughout CaliforniaBe able to maintain a calm, professional attitude when confronted with difficulitiesAbility to recall and track multiple projects and priorities in fast changing environments Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (company truck provided)Willing to work beyond standard business hours to meet deadlines or emergency responses.Compensation & Benefits$ 75k - $110K annually (DOE)Company truck providedFull-time positionCompany DescriptionFire Protection ServicesCompany DescriptionFire Protection Services
