This is an opportunity to work closely with students (ages 5–17) in a more connected, community-based model, while also helping build something new in the local market.If you're looking for a role that combines meaningful clinical work, autonomy, and the chance to shape a growing program, this could be a strong fit.What You'll Be DoingProvide individual therapy to children and adolescents in school-based settingsManage your own caseload from intake through dischargeConduct clinical assessments and diagnoses to guide treatment planning (no formal psychological testing)Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on client progressCollaborate with caregivers, school staff, and internal team membersParticipate in the intake process, helping determine appropriate careMaintain timely documentation and track outcomesWhat We're Looking ForIndependently licensed clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or CMHC)Master's degree in a behavioral health fieldExperience (or strong interest) in working with children, adolescents, and studentsAbility to assess, diagnose, and treat independentlyFamiliarity with at least one evidence-based modality (CBT, Expressive Arts Therapy, etc.)Organized, collaborative, and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomyNice to Have:Experience in school-based settings or with youth populationsExposure to intake, behavioral assessments, and treatment planningWhy This Role Stands OutSchool-based model – provide care where students already areFounding clinician in SLC – help shape how services are delivered locallyStrong demand from partnering school districts already investing in servicesHigh level of clinical ownership and autonomySupportive leadership with room for growth and advancementCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $45,000 – $75,000 (based on experience and job status)Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance401(k) (no employer match)Paid holidays + 3 weeks PTOPerformance-based raises and advancement opportunitiesAbout LivWell BehavioralLivWell Behavioral is a mission-driven outpatient practice focused on helping children and adolescents build healthier, more resilient lives.
