Inventory Manager

Job Description: Nature’s Produce has a new opportunity for an Inventory Manager in Vernon, CA. We are looking for an experienced individual with a background in perishable Inventory Management within the produce industry. You will be responsible for performing inspections, checks, and tests on product to ensure that all product meets standards of quality and safety while overseeing all inventory activities at the warehouse. The Inventory Manager will work with our team to improve the overall performance of our business by effectively handling all day to day quality and food safety needs in a fast-moving and high energy environment. Responsibilities & Duties: Inspect produce for quality and condition Conduct regular product inspection in refrigerated warehouse space to ensure quality and proper rotation of products Assist with shelf-life testing Manage produce inventory and ensure that the right product in the right place at the right time Qualifications: Produce QC and inventory experience required General understanding of food safety and GAP’s, GMP’s, HACCP, etc. preferred Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Well organized and extremely attentive to details Team player Our company is an Equal Opportunity employer.
