Floater Teacher

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom support, stepping into various teaching environments to ensure seamless daily operations and enriched learning experiences for young children. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum development plans tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, and physical education. Support classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior management and child welfare while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. Engage with children in activities that promote childhood development, including toddler care, preschool activities, and Montessori-inspired learning approaches. Help with lesson planning and execution for various age groups, ensuring activities are age-appropriate and aligned with educational goals such as standardized testing preparation or early intervention programs. Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meal times, and transitions to ensure safety and foster social-emotional growth. Collaborate with staff on classroom experience enhancements and individualized support for children requiring special education or additional assistance. Maintain clear communication with parents and team members about children's progress, behavior management strategies, and classroom needs. Experience Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is required, along with at least 12 ece units from an accredited college. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in preschool or toddler care. Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention support is a plus. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy skills. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and children’s families. Knowledge of Montessori methods or experience in private school environments is advantageous. Ability to adapt quickly across different classrooms while maintaining high standards of childcare and education excellence.
