Outside Plant Engineer

OSP Engineer- IllinoisWe are actively hiring for a Lead OSP Engineering role. The ideal candidate must have strong experience reading construction drawings and designs to perform QC/QA activities in the field. This role will be responsible for reviewing surveys, prints, and invoices prior to conducting field validation and inspections.Key Responsibilities:• Support OSP fiber network design, deployment, and optimization• Issue, review, and respond to RFPs/RFQs with vendors and hyperscale customers• Evaluate vendor proposals, BOMs, splice plans, and construction drawings• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers throughout project execution• Support projects involving Dark Fiber, Ethernet, DIA, SD-WAN, WDM, and FTTx• Drive process improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.Required Experience:• 7+ years of telecom fiber / OSP engineering experience.
