DevSecOps engineer

DevSecOps EngineerLocation: Austin, TX Duration: 12 MonthsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS: The candidate will engage in DevSecOps engineering activities. A successful candidate will have at least (4+) years of experience as a software engineer or developer with recent (4+) years of experience in DevSecOps engineering, DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development/Deployment using cloud technologies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Gather technical requirements, design, implement, and maintain mission-critical infrastructure platform and DevSecOps services that are scalable, highly available and fault-tolerantConsult with client stakeholders on strategies for deployment of new technology implementations, and monitor to develop a migration strategy from the current system using CI/CD pipelineEnsure solutions are implemented and delivered with best practices, standards, and appropriate controls based on the business needMentor team members on AWS design and implementation while creating runbooks documenting implementation and standardized processes to maintain the platformDevelop automation processes, code deployments, platform support and maintenance activities using automation tools like Jenkins, Veracode, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, Liquibase, etc.Follow all organizational Standard Operating Procedures relative to approvals and reviews, and all other associated workflow and deliverables.CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum:Years - Skills/Experience4 - Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience4 - Experience analyzing customer service requirements and designing CI/CD pipeline solutions to meet those objectives using Jenkins or another product4 - Extensive skills experience transitioning from on premise data center services to platform and cloud services4 - Software engineering DevSecOps experience with end-to-end solutions4 - Strong knowledge of proven experience using DevOps concepts, software development life cycle methodologies, including Agile and Kanban4 - Experience working directly with DevSecOps Services for AWS and Mobile Apps and securing applications using Veracode, SonarQube, Xray or another product, familiarity with code repositories like Bitbucket or Gitlab4 - Extensive skills with Linux and Windows operating systems4 - Experience coding and scripting (Python, Groovy, Golang, bash/shell ) and design experience4 - Able to work independently1 (Preferred ) - Experience with designing and automating build and deployment solutions/process for database solutions using Liquibase, Snowflake, SAS Viya, UIPath, Elastic, Deploy Hub, Automated Tests (Selenium, ReadyAPI), Python, Groovy, Bash/Shell
