Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's financial strategy, accounting operations, and risk management functions within a manufacturing environment. This role will serve as a key partner to the President and senior leadership team, supporting strategic planning, operational performance, and long-term growth initiatives. The CFO will also work closely with the Board of Directors and serve in a governance-focused capacity.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a primary financial advisor to executive leadership and support annual strategic planning and executionAct as Secretary to the Board of Directors, including preparing meeting minutes and supporting board resolutionsLead the company's treasury strategy, including banking relationships, credit facilities, cash flow, and liquidity planningOversee internal controls, compliance, and risk management across core financial and operational functionsManage external audit relationships and ensure timely completion of annual financial reviews and reportingDirect daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, invoicing, cash receipts, and monthly financial closeProvide financial reporting, analytics, and performance insights to support leadership decision-makingOversee credit management policies, customer credit terms, and past-due receivables collectionsEnsure timely vendor payments and proper documentation of purchasing and invoice approvalsCoordinate with tax service providers to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred)10+ years of accounting, finance, or audit experience, including 3+ years in a leadership rolePrior manufacturing finance/accounting experience requiredProven experience working directly with ownership and/or a Board of Directors
