The Government Program Office is located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.The role is responsible for the design, administration, maintenance, and optimization of multiple AWS-based environments supporting ETIMS operations. This position provides senior-level technical expertise to ensure system performance, security compliance, operational stability, and continuous modernization of the platform architecture. The individual will also support architecture implementation efforts and collaborate closely with Government customers and integrator team members. Occasional on-site support for meetings in the Dayton, Ohio area is required.What You'll Be DoingAdminister and maintain AWS cloud environments, ensuring availability, performance, and securitySupport the implementation of existing and new enterprise architecture by duplicating existing production environments for development, test and server backup and overall cloud modernization initiativesMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system, network, and application issues across a multi-cloud infrastructureBuild deployments for AWS/C1 production, development and test zonesEnsure compliance with RMF, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity standardsManage system configurations, patching, and updates in accordance with security baselinesSupport CI/CD pipelines, automation efforts, and infrastructure-as-code implementationsCollaborate with engineers, and cybersecurity teams to align operations with design and compliance requirementsDevelop and maintain documentation, system baselines, and operational proceduresSupport system accreditation, audits, and continuous monitoring activitiesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators and support staffPerform other related duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For7+ years of experience in systems administration or cloud administration within DoD or Federal Government environments5–7 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environmentsExperience with Jenkins, including migrating or converting Jenkins pipelines using Terraform and AnsibleFamiliarity with GitLab, GitLab Duo, or comparable DevOps platformsHands-on experience administering AWS cloud environments, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and related servicesStrong knowledge of RMF, NIST, DISA STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity compliance requirementsExperience supporting enterprise-level, mission-critical systems in secure environmentsFamiliarity with DevSecOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworksActive Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8140 baseline certification) requiredBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field requiredAWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator)Experience supporting The Airforce Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate or similar Federal ProgramsFamiliarity with enterprise application stacks (Java, Oracle, Apache, etc.)Experience operating in Agile/Scrum environmentsPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentWork is primarily performed remotely and outside of secured government facilities.
