This position is responsible for responsible for performing grounds, turf and landscape maintenance assigned by the Head and Assistant Groundskeeper.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise and assign duties to grounds keeper staff.Responsible for the proper storage of facility event equipment when not in use.Ensure all equipment and supplies are cleaned and returned to their proper place when finished with them.Demonstrate continuous effort to improve grounds keeping operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to meet customer expectations.Ability to work effectively as a team and with other building departments.Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Management.Perform turf and landscape activities such as such as dragging the infield for in-game maintenance, raking, tamping and watering the playing field.Assist with maintenance and repair of irrigation system.Assist with the set up and removal of batting practice equipment.Prune and trim trees, shrubs and flowers.Assist in the placement and removal of the infield tarp during inclement weather.Assist with cleanup and maintenance of tools, equipment and the shop work area.Other responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
