We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.Geotechnical Engineer - Field & InterpretationLocation: North America-based (United States or Canada)Preferred locations: Alaska; Houston, TX; Calgary, AB; Vancouver, BCRole SummaryAs a Geotechnical Engineer, you will deliver geotechnical engineering scopes supporting investigation planning, field execution, interpretation of field and laboratory data, and translation of findings into design and constructability decisions. This role is execution‐focused and suited to an experienced engineer who can independently own defined scopes.This position will be based in a Worley office in Houston, TX; Calgary, AB; Vancouver, BC; or Alaska, with a hybrid work schedule. The role is not intended for offshore or remote‐only delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop geotechnical field investigation scopes, including drilling and laboratory programsSupport and oversee field investigation execution and contractor coordinationInterpret subsurface conditions and develop geotechnical ground modelsPrepare geotechnical analyses and recommendations for foundations, earthworks, slopes, and buried infrastructureProduce customer‐ready geotechnical reports and technical memorandaProvide construction‐phase support including review of submittals and RFIsCoordinate with geoscience, civil, structural, and construction teamsRequired QualificationsDegree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related disciplineTypically 7+ years of relevant experience delivering geotechnical engineering scopesStrong background in investigations, analysis, and interpretationExperience producing high‐quality technical deliverablesStrong communication skillsEligibility for professional engineering registrationEquivalent combinations of experience and demonstrated capability will be considered.Travel / Field ExpectationsModerate travel is expected, including site visits and short‐term or rotational field assignments.For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $129,543 to $190,504.Application of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.#LI-NM4Moving forward togetherWe're committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
