Automotive Quality Liaison

Looking for a liaison (eyes/ears of the supplier) to go into the auto manufacturing plant in the area to represent a supplier out of state. As the liaison you will be troubleshooting, sending information to our customer but mainly building relationships between you and our customer and the manufacturing plant. These relationships are HUGE. In short, shaking hands and kissing babies, not actually but similar. I in my many years for the industry still have friends in many of the plants by creating these relationships. So we are like politicians but also firefighters (running in when there is an issue), lawyer (negotiating who is at fault when issues happen) and inspector (when parts need to be segregated good/bad. Great communication skills by phone, email and in person needed. Note; this supplier is out of Mexico so Spanish skills or ability to communicate with other nationalities huge. This is a 1099, subcontract job. No benefits (insurance/vacation) and you are responsible for your taxes at the end of the year. This is kind of an urgent need so well qualified candidates can expect to be called (from 810 phone number) rather quickly.
