Job Details:Job Title: Visual/ UI - Art DirectorLocation: Austin, TX (4 days onsite per week, 1 day remote)Duration: 12 Months (possibility of extension)Type: Full-Time, ContractPROJECT OVERVIEWYou'll contribute to the creative production of digital work across the organization, helping ensure visual quality, clarity, and consistency across platforms. You'll collaborate closely with designers, writers, strategists, and partners to create thoughtful, engaging work that supports brand and business goals.CREATIVE THINGS YOU'LL DO• Lead the UI concepting and execution of digital‐first creative work across channels.• Translate ideas into clear, compelling visual systems and experiences.• Uphold brand standards while evolving the look and feel across digital touchpoints.• Partner with copywriters, designers, and developers to deliver cohesive storytelling and user experiences.• Stay current on digital design trends, tools, and best practices—and apply them with intention.• Excel at designing everything from video and email to websites and social.• Rigorously self-edit your designs with attention to clear creative solutions.WHAT YOU'LL BRING• Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.• 3–5 years of experience in digital design, preferably in an agency or in‐house environment.• Strong proficiency with modern design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and related platforms, and adapting to new tools and technologies.• A portfolio that demonstrates digital‐first thinking, strong visual craft, and creative leadership.• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, organized working style.• Manage time and hit deadlines while managing multiple projects.• Solve marketing partner problems by thinking strategically, implementing past feedback, and applying data and knowledge about the user.• Comfortable presenting your work to creative leads and marketing partners.• Be daring enough to make mistakes (few as they may be), smart enough to learn from them, and brave enough to ask for help.• You're eager to learn from coworkers, marketing partners, C2 departments, tech platforms, and award books.EEO:Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of Minority/ Gender/ Disability/ Religion/ LGBTQI/ Age/ Veterans.
