Primary Position ObjectiveA variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.Assists the Health and Wellness Manager in planning, implementing, and evaluating an efficient wellness program consistent with the students' needs and Job Corps goals and objectives. Provide nursing services.Brief Description of DutiesPerforms duties under the supervision of the Health and Wellness Manager.Responsible for ensuring doctor's orders are followed in the Wellness Center and the care of all patients as prescribedMaintains charts on all patients and compiles medical, and dental records of terminated studentsNotifies residential personnel of released patientsMaintains a record of all admissions and dismissalsCompiles various logs, records and reports; for example, wellness use, examinations, and medication useMaintains a record of all calls to on-call medical personnelDispenses prescribed medicationAssists with cursory examinations, sick call, and wellness careServes as on-call nurse when schedulesWorks to ensure performance management standards are metEnsures that required property (equipment) controls are adhered toMaintains current knowledge in CPR and First AidEnsures that a clean and safe health facility is operated at all timesMonitors area of responsibility to ensure timely and high-quality services.Works toward meeting performance standards goals.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
