MMR holds the proud distinction of being the largest privately owned "Open Shop" contractor in the United States with over 30 branch offices including global locations in Canada and Mexico.Job DescriptionMMR is seeking Assistant Project Manager candidates that support project leadership in procurement, contract change management, reporting, documentation, and cost tracking while managing designated scopes and administrative workflows to maintain progress and compliance. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:Assist with organization, planning, scheduling, and subcontractor scheduling of the projectAssist with developing job tracking systems including schedule, productivity, and costMaintaining and updating tracking systems, schedules, cost reportsParticipate in weekly client update meetings Maintain meeting minutes and action logsPrepare and submit weekly client update reportsPreparing and submitting change ordersCoordinating with site supervision to build work packagesPrepare and submit client invoicesMaintaining RFI log, change order log, invoice log, restraint log, drawing log, equipment log, material logUpdating schedule of values and preparing client invoicesField material and equipment purchasing as requiredManage assigned scopes under PM directionRequired Skills and QualificationsBS in Construction Management or related fieldExperience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferred2-6 years project support experience, with a focus in project engineeringMust understand procurement tracking, change management, reporting, billing support, and documentationMust have knowledge in estimating, scheduling, and purchasingExperience in managing subcontractsAble to manage assigned scopes with limited supervisionStrong ownership and follow-upStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsAble to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadlineExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as neededRegular and reliable attendance at workMMR Group, Inc. and its affiliated companies ("MMR") is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, veteran status, genetic information or any other legally protected class.
