The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and general repairs on fleet vehicles to ensure efficient and safe operation. Additional responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, troubleshooting problems, performing repairs on heavy equipment as needed, and ensuring that all work complies with safety and quality standards. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the high standards of vehicle reliability essential to the success of the organization. Qualifications Proficiency in Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair tasksExperience with Preventive Maintenance processes to ensure vehicle longevitySkills in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issuesKnowledge of Heavy Equipment repair and maintenanceAttention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a teamRelevant technical training or certification is preferred but not required
