Technical Training Systems Specialist

Also, possessing the ability to acquire hands-on technical skills to install, configure, train, and support the solutions we deliver.If you enjoy building relationships, solving real-world technical workforce development challenges, and helping educational and workforce partners implement transformative training programs, this role offers significant growth and impact.What You will Do:Grow & Strengthen Existing AccountsBuild long-term relationships through service excellenceIdentify expansion opportunities within existing programsMonitor program effectiveness and customer satisfactionGather customer feedback and communicate insights internallyRepresent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry eventsDeliver & Support Technical SolutionsInstall, configure, and commission training equipment and associated softwareEnsure proper setup, calibration, and operational readiness of systemsTroubleshoot hardware and software issues as neededSafely transport and manage demonstration equipmentTrain the TrainersConduct on-site and virtual educator training sessionsLead professional development workshops and technical presentationsEquip instructors with the confidence and knowledge to effectively use the systemsSupport credential-driven and outcomes-based program implementationDrive New Business & Revenue GrowthProactively identify, pursue, and develop new customer relationships within your territoryOpen doors with schools, workforce programs, and technical training institutionsLead consultative discovery conversations to uncover instructional and program needsPresent and demonstrate technical training equipment and software solutionsDevelop and execute territory sales strategies aligned with revenue goalsMaintain accurate pipeline activity and documentation in CRMWhat Makes This Role UniqueThis is not a traditional sales role.You won’t simply “sell and move on.” You will:Speak credibly about technical solutionsPhysically install and configure equipmentTrain educators to use complex systemsHelp institutions grow high-impact technical training programsSuccess in this role requires someone who is equally comfortable:In front of a decision-makerIn a lab installing equipmentLeading a training workshopStrategizing how to expand a territoryThough we will have an extensive training period to prepare the right person to fulfill all of this.Qualifications & ExperienceRequiredStrong technical aptitude (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, electronics, or similar)Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot equipment and softwareExcellent communication and presentation skillsSelf-starter with entrepreneurial mindsetStrong organizational and CRM disciplineWillingness to travel regularly within assigned territoryAbility to lift and transport equipmentPreferred2–5+ years in technical sales, solutions consulting, or field serviceExperience in educational technology, workforce development, or industrial trainingExperience installing and supporting technical equipmentBackground in teaching, training, or industrial instructionExperience with Zoho or similar CRM systemsWho You AreYou are:A relationship builder who can confidently open new doorsA consultative seller who asks strong discovery questionsTechnically competent and hands-onComfortable presenting to instructors, administrators, and leadership teamsMotivated by growing territory revenueOrganized, strategic, and performance-drivenEnergized by both independence and collaborationWhy This Role MattersOur solutions directly impact students preparing for technical careers and industry-recognized credentials.
