CDL B Wastewater Collections Operator Hoboken, NJ 07030 Pay: $25/hr We are hiring a CDL B Wastewater Collections Operator to assist with operation, maintenance, cleaning, and repair of wastewater collection systems. This is a hands-on field role involving sewer lines, collection equipment, preventive maintenance, confined-space environments, and basic maintenance records. Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid Class B CDL required at time of hire Ability to work outdoors and in industrial/utility environments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical maintenance work Preferred Experience Wastewater, water, sewer, utility, construction, or public works experience Experience with sewer cleaning, rodding, clearing, or collection system maintenance OSHA, Confined Space, or Lockout/Tagout training NJDEP C1 Collections License preferred Responsibilities Assist with sewer cleaning, clearing, rodding, and collection system repairs Help maintain collection system equipment and facilities Perform weekly preventive maintenance on equipment Learn and use tools and equipment related to wastewater collections Read sewer maps, plans, prints, and maintenance manuals Maintain basic records using CMMS, Word, Excel, or spreadsheets Follow safety procedures, hazard analysis, and pre-task planning Work in confined spaces and around pumps, valves, piping, and related equipment License Requirement Candidates must already have a CDL B license. The selected candidate will also need to obtain the NJDEP C1 Collections License within two years of hire. Training materials, the first exam, and required continuing education for the license are covered.
