Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.As a Senior Engineer of Solutions Engineering in Managed Transportation at RXO, you'll use rigorous data collection and analysis to craft marketable solutions for clients. You will also identify, propose, and deliver key initiatives that improve the client's supply chain operations and drive efficiency into the RXO account team's internal processes. We will equip you with the best tools in the industry to grow and develop to a level that will exceed your expectations.What your day-to-day will look like:Able to lead all aspects of Supply Chain and Transportation Technology Solutions for Clients including demonstrations, implementation, hands-on execution of configuration, testing and deployment supportSubject Matter Expert (SME) for Transportation Management Systems and System Integrations with Clients and Business partnersProvide subject matter expertise to support business requirement definition, process design, implementation of processes, and organizational change. Document and maintain functional requirementsResearch and analyze best practices and Technology driven solutionsDevelop an understanding of customer processes to enhance cross-functional initiatives and effectively communicate/integrate solution improvementsDevelop and Identify cost savings initiatives and manage projects through implementationProvide value propositions by identifying opportunities through rigorous data collection and analysis; craft marketable solutions for clientsCommunicate and collaborate project activities to key stakeholders both internally and with clientsHelp execute process and strategy improvements related to supply chain focused on transportation improvement projectsResearch root cause of issues - recommend improvements in existing processes and implement action plansWhat you'll need to excel:At a minimum, you'll need:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience2 years of experience in key functional areas: supply chain management, logistics, decision support systems/technology, transportation management, distribution, or procurement functional responsibilitiesExperience data mining and generating simulations in Microsoft BI, Access, and Excel to identify and scope opportunities within the customer's supply chainIt'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or other technical and/or analytical fieldExperience with ILOG, Supply Chain Guru, Appian or data modelingExperience in multiple logistics-related systems and transportation management systemsLean six sigma experienceExperience collecting and analyzing data for modeling, network optimization and/or transportation redesign purposesExperience preparing and delivering presentationsStrong project management skillsDoes this sound like you?
