Pay Rate - $55/ Hour - $60/hour Job Title - Legal Recruiter Location - Seattle, WA Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Recruiter to lead talent sourcing and pipeline development for critical Legal and Public Policy hiring initiatives. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to identify, attract, and engage top-tier talent across a variety of legal and policy-focused functions. The ideal candidate is a proactive talent professional with strong market mapping and sourcing capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience recruiting within the legal industry is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Independently source, identify, and engage qualified candidates for Legal and/or Public Policy roles across multiple levels. Partner closely with hiring managers to calibrate on role requirements, target profiles, and recruiting strategies. Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Conduct market research and talent mapping to identify high-quality candidate pools and competitive hiring trends. Develop creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, Boolean search techniques, and other recruiting channels. Manage candidate outreach and engagement throughout the recruiting lifecycle. Screen and assess candidates for technical qualifications, relevant experience, and organizational fit. Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders and provide updates on pipeline activity, candidate progress, and market insights. Support recruiting operations and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Drive recruiting efforts with a high degree of autonomy, creativity, professionalism, and urgency. Qualifications Bachelors degree preferred. 8+ years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting Legal and/or Public Policy functions. Prior recruiting experience within the legal industry or professional services environment is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies, talent mapping, and candidate engagement strategies. Experience partnering with senior hiring managers and stakeholders. Preferred Skills Expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean sourcing techniques. Experience recruiting for attorneys, compliance professionals, legal operations, government affairs, or policy-related roles. Strong market knowledge within the legal and public policy talent landscape.
