Design Engineer | AI Product + Growth Design | Global Remote | Mandarin-speaking

Cookiy AI is building an AI-native qualitative research platform. Our product conducts voice-based AI interviews at scale and turns conversations into structured research insights for product, growth, and healthcare/life-science teams. We are rebuilding a small, high-ownership remote team and are looking for Mandarin-speaking teammates who are physically based outside Mainland China. Location: Global remote, physically outside Mainland China Language: Mandarin working proficiency required; English reading/writing required Engagement: Contractor first, with potential to become long-term/full-time Time overlap: At least 4 hours overlap with Singapore Time or Pacific Time What you will do ·Design and prototype AI product workflows, onboarding, dashboards, demo flows, landing pages, and sales assets. ·Translate ambiguous founder/product ideas into usable screens and high-converting product narratives. ·Work in Figma and, ideally, ship or prototype in React, Framer, Webflow, or another production-adjacent tool. ·Build lightweight design systems and reusable product/growth components. Who we are looking for ·Portfolio shows real SaaS/product work, not only visual shots. AI product, research tools, healthcare, productivity, or B2B SaaS experience is a plus. ·Strong hierarchy, copy awareness, interaction judgment, and conversion sense. ·Able to collaborate with engineers and growth without needing heavy specs. ·Mandarin working proficiency and English reading/writing ability.
