Apply via Dice today!Terms of EmploymentW2 Contract, 12 MonthsThis is an onsite position at Washington, DCOverviewOur client is looking for a Mid level Civil/Structural Engineer working with a team on Substation and Construction Projects.ResponsibilitiesLeading and managing engineering projects from conception to completion.Designing, developing, and testing products, systems, or structures.Conducting research and analysis to solve complex engineering problems.Preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and reports.Evaluating and selecting materials and equipment for projects.Participating in project planning and management activities.Performing calculations and simulations to support engineering designs.Collaborating with other engineers, professionals, and stakeholders on project teams.Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations.Mentoring and providing guidance to junior engineers and technical staffRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor in Civil / Structural Engineering (Professional Engineering)10 to 15 years experience in engineering and electrical utility projects.Experience in STAAD, MathCad and L Pile.Electric utility experience.In-depth knowledge in Steel/Concrete/Storm Water Management and Civil work.
