Baker

Seeking a part time baker for high volume café in Clinton Hill. Must have at least one previous professional baking experience.This is an afternooon/early evening production shift, two days a week, ideally on Thursday, Friday, or Sunday. The shifts are six-seven hours.This role focuses on producing consistent, high-quality pastries for daily service, including cakes, scones, cookies, quiche, and muffins. You’ll work independently during your shifts, so the ideal candidate is self sufficient and self motivated. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake pastries and baked goods for café service Manage ingredient inventory, prep lists, and mise en place Ensure kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and consistency in quality Assist with occasional special orders or events as needed Qualifications: 1+ years of professional pastry experience (café or bakery setting preferred) Strong time management and organizational skills Comfort working independently in a small team environment Ability to meet high-volume production needs without compromising quality Early morning availability and weekend flexibility required Passion for pastries, seasonal ingredients, and hospitality NYS FOOD HANDLER'S LICENSE IS A PLUS More detail about Prima Brooklyn, please visit
