Specialist, Systems Engineering (Software)

The System Engineer serves as an experienced technical contributor supporting the development, integration, and delivery of mission focused system solutions. This role participates in defining system requirements, developing system architecture, supporting CONOPS and use case development, and performing system level analysis throughout the engineering lifecycle. Support system design, integration, and verification and validation (V&V) activities, while coordinating with software, firmware, hardware, and cross-disciplinary teams. • Assist with system level trade studies, performance analyses, and allocation of functional and performance requirements. • Produce and maintain engineering artifacts such as interface definitions, system diagrams, and architecture documentation. • Analyze system performance data, identify technical issues, and support root cause investigations and corrective actions. • Support internal and customer design reviews, readiness reviews, and technical presentations. • Communicate technical findings clearly to cross functional engineering teams. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Preferred Skillsets: • Ability to quickly understand customer missions and assist in CONOPS development. • Experience with MBSE or digital engineering tools (e.g., Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.
