Senior/Staff Mechanical Design Engineer

NO C-C AVAILABLEWhat You’ll Do Design and develop mechanical components and subassemblies (gearboxes, housings, drivetrain systems) Own full product lifecycle: concept, CAD, simulation (FEA), prototyping, testing, and production Perform calculations and analysis to validate performance, durability, and reliability Drive design for manufacturability (DFM), assembly, and serviceability Support prototype builds, testing, and iterative design improvements Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during development and production Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, firmware, and systems teams Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to bring designs into production What We’re Looking For Strong experience in mechanical design (CAD: SolidWorks, Creo, or similar) Background in electro-mechanical systems (motor-driven products, powertrain, robotics, etc.) Experience with FEA / simulation and hands-on prototyping Understanding of DFM, tolerance stack-ups, and production processes Experience taking products from concept through production Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments Nice to Have Experience with gearboxes, motors, or drivetrain systems Exposure to embedded systems or working alongside firmware teams Thermal, vibration, or structural analysis experience Startup or high-growth environment experience Why This Role Ownership of real, physical products from day one Highly cross-functional work across mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems Opportunity to work on cutting-edge hardware in a fast-moving environment
