Many benefits offered including discounted stays at all IHG and New Castle properties.Key Responsibilities:Operations & Service ExecutionSupervise daily service in the hotel's restaurant and banquet/event spacesEnsure all service standards, timelines, and presentation expectations are consistently metOversee room setup, breakdown, and event execution according to BEOsMonitor guest satisfaction and proactively address concerns or service recovery needsEnsure compliance with hotel brand standards and service expectationsTeam Leadership & Staff SupportLead, coach, and support servers, bartenders, banquet staff, and support team membersServe as the first point of contact for staff questions and operational decisions during serviceReinforce policies, procedures, and professional conduct standardsAssist with training new hires and ongoing staff developmentCommunication & CoordinationCommunicate effectively with culinary, bar, sales, and management teamsEnsure accurate execution of menus, special requests, and dietary restrictionsRelay guest feedback and operational concerns to managementAdministrative & Compliance SupportAssist with timekeeping and shift documentationEnsure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulationsSupport inventory control, equipment care, and supply managementEnforce company policies and local labor lawsQualifications & ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience in restaurant and/or banquetPrevious leadership experienceStrong knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality standardsExperience working with BEOs and large-scale events preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCore CompetenciesLeadership & accountabilityGuest-focused service mindsetAttention to detailAdaptability & time managementWorking with the Food and Beverage Manager, you are becoming a stronger leader each day. Whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner, you and the restaurant and/or lounge team are ready to serve the customer and to deliver a great experience. You are the Food and Beverage Supervisor and in this role you will:Be your Manager's Right Hand - supporting the restaurant manager by implementing/following policies and procedures and ensuring the team is training and ready to deliver his/her vision.Keep your Eyes Open - ensuring that all is as it should be. Is the restaurant clean, set and ready? Are staff fully knowledgeable about their jobs, the daily specials and which guests/groups may be dining in your restaurant that day? Are they looking sharp per hotel policy?Be "the Communicator" - ensuring the team - from bus person to management to culinary staff - are kept informed on a timely basis and know what it is they "need to know".Walk the Talk - being an extra set of hands for the staff, helping where needed - serving, hosting, delivering, scheduling, training, interviewing, etc.Be a Safety & Security Agent - keeping your eyes open for issues with our property, guests or your coworkers and ensure all are working safely and securely, with the hotel's assets treated with the respect and care they deserve.Job RequirementsPrior food & beverage experience strongly preferred with prior supervisory experience a plus and good communication skills and fluency in English required. You will regularly use a computer and various software programs and must have certified alcohol training. Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, Light work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels. Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range. Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.Job RequirementsAt least five years of progressive experience in food & beverage in a resort of hotel is required with college coursework and prior supervisory experience preferred. To be successful in this role, you must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally in English. You must be able to professional deal with difficult situations and people. You will regularly use a computer and various software programs and must have certified alcohol training. Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
