Project Risk Specialist (Construction)
Project Risk SpecialistITnova is seeking a qualified Project Risk Specialist (Construction) to provide comprehensive risk management support services for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The successful candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in construction project risk management, including facilitation of risk assessment workshops, development of qualitative and quantitative risk models, cost and schedule risk analysis, and preparation of formal risk assessment reports utilizing industry-standard tools, methodologies, and best practices.Required QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in construction risk management. Proven experience facilitating risk assessment workshops, conducting qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, and preparing formal risk assessment reports. Hands-on experience using: Lumivero @RISK Add-In for Microsoft Excel (Version 8.9 or later preferred) Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis (Version 8.7 or later preferred) Experience analyzing and integrating cost and schedule risks associated with construction and infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of project controls, risk mitigation strategies, and construction project delivery processes. Key Responsibilities and DutiesIdentify, assess, evaluate, and score project risks associated with capital and non-capital construction projects. Organize and facilitate project risk assessment and risk migration workshops as directed by the Authority. Compile and review project risk information, including engineering design reports, construction cost estimates, project schedules, and related project documentation. Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including Monte Carlo simulation modeling, to evaluate project cost and schedule exposure. Analyze and model individual project risks and associated impacts to both cost and schedule performance. Develop, maintain, and update project risk registers and supporting risk documentation. Prepare comprehensive risk assessment reports and presentations documenting findings, conclusions, and recommTraining reimbursement endations. Recommend and support implementation of improvements to the Authority’s risk assessment methodologies, procedures, and reporting processes. Provide risk management training, guidance, and mentoring to project stakeholders and team members as appropriate. Utilize industry-standard risk analysis tools, including Lumivero @RISK and Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis, to support project risk evaluations.
