About the OpportunityA growing private equity real estate investment firm is looking to hire a Controller / Accounting Manager to join their Dallas office.This is a high-visibility, hands-on role working directly with the CFO in a lean, entrepreneurial environment, offering exposure across fund, investment, and corporate accounting.The RoleYou’ll take ownership across a broad range of responsibilities, including:Managing day-to-day accounting across multiple entities and investment structuresLeading month-end and quarter-end close processesPreparing and reviewing financial statements (GAAP)Supporting fund and investment accounting, including:Capital calls & distributionsInvestor allocationsAssisting with investor reporting and financial packagesCoordinating with auditors, tax advisors, and third-party administratorsSupporting audit and tax processes, including partnership returnsPartnering with investment and asset management teams on deal activityIdentifying opportunities to improve processes and controlsWhat They’re Looking For5–10 years of experience in:Public accounting, fund accounting, or real estate accountingExperience with:Multi-entity structuresFinancial reporting and close processesExposure to:Private equity or real estate investment environments (preferred)Understanding of GAAP accounting principlesStrong Excel skills and attention to detailComfortable working in a lean, hands-on team👉 CPA is a plus, not required👉 Exposure to tax or partnership accounting is beneficialWhy JoinWork directly with senior leadership (CFO)Gain exposure across investment, fund, and operational financeJoin a growing platform with strong deal activityTake on a role with real ownership and impact
