Our products are globally shipped to customers far and wide.As our, CNC Programmer you'll have the opportunity to help shape the future of our company and make a lasting impact on our success.Essential ResponsibilitiesCNC Programming & Process DevelopmentProgram CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam to produce precision aerospace components
Assist inmachine selection ,operation sequencing , andprocess planning
Develop machining strategies optimized for quality, repeatability, and efficiency
Select appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting strategies based on material and part geometry
Fixture & Tooling DesignDesign and develop fixtures conceptually and/or in SolidWorks
Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure fixturing meets production and quality requirements
Specify cutting tools, holders, probes, and workholding solutions
Shop Floor SupportPerformfirst-part setup and run-offon assigned programs
Supportfirst article inspection (FAI)and resolve any machining or process issues
Provide hands-on troubleshooting support during program prove-out and production ramp-up
Documentation & TrainingCreateclear, detailed setup sheets , including:Tool lists
Fixture setups
Work offsets
Programming and inspection notesTrain machine operators on:Program execution
Setup requirements
Process intent and critical quality characteristicsContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve cycle time, tool life, and process reliability
Support lean manufacturing, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives
Work collaboratively with quality, engineering, and operations teams to resolve non-conformancesQualifications and ExperienceCAD/CAM ExperienceMinimum3 years of SolidWorks modeling experience
Minimum3 years of Mastercam programming experienceMills, lathes, and part probing required
Wire EDM and/or plunge EDM experience is a strong plusMachining ExperienceMinimum5 years of hands-on machining experience , including:Vertical Mills
Horizontal Lathes
Vertical LathesAdditional experience with the following is preferred:Horizontal Mills
5-Axis Mills
Wire EDM
Plunge EDM
Live tooling environments
Experience inAS9100 / FAA-regulated aerospace environments
Strong understanding of GD&T and inspection methods
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor operators and junior programmers
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityAbility to read, interpret, and apply aerospace engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications
