Plater Machine Operator Location: Harrisburg, North CarolinaEmployment Type: Temp to Hire Pay Rate: $19.00 $20.00 per hour Schedule:7:00 AM 7:00 PM or7:00 PM 7:00 AM (2-2-3 rotating schedule)Job Overview We are currently hiring for a Plater Machine Operator to work in a high-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating copper plating machinery, conducting quality checks, and preparing copper rods for shipment. Candidates must be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in physically demanding, industrial conditions.Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain copper plating equipmentInspect and adjust machinery to ensure production qualityPrepare finished rods by pointing, chamfering, and labelingComplete order paperwork accurately and on timeTroubleshoot basic equipment issues as they ariseFollow all safety procedures, including routine equipment inspectionsQualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environmentAt least 1 year of forklift operating experienceExperience using a crane preferredStrong multitasking and time management skillsSelf-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work independentlyWork Environment & Physical Demands Exposure to moving machinery, extreme heat, airborne particles, and industrial chemicalsMust be able to move around the facility, including uneven surfacesRegularly lift and carry up to 50 lbsIf you're ready to work in a hands-on role where precision and safety are key, apply now for immediate consideration!
