Health Physicist
A company is looking for a Health Physicist to support the Energy Employee Occupational Illness Compensation Act (EEOICPA) Project work.
Key Responsibilities
Produces and reports dose estimates and supporting methodology for claims received by NIOSH under EEOICPA
Performs internal and external dose reconstructions and peer reviews, evaluating data and medical histories
Documents findings and writes detailed reports reflecting the results of dose reconstructions
Qualifications
Minimum bachelor's degree in health physics, environmental or natural sciences, or related field
Two or more years of experience in health physics or radiation safety
Familiarity with basic statistics and/or mathematical modeling
Experience with dose reconstruction and knowledge of radiation exposure monitoring methods preferred
U.S. citizenship required for specific government contract work
