HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Job DescriptionGENERAL PURPOSE: Under administrative direction of the HR Director plans manages oversees and directs the operations and services of Human Resources including recruitment selection health benefits new employee on-boarding employee and labor relations classification compensation training coordination employee assistance; coordinates activities with other City officials departments outside agencies and organizations; oversees and maintains records and personnel files; serves as a technical resource of Assistant City Manager/Executive Director and other City personnel. Performs a full array of duties and responsibilities with a high degree of confidentiality and with minimal supervision and instruction.Additional InformationBeginning Salary: $28.08 -30.39 p/h DOQ MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the formal education experience and training required. Education:Associates degree in human resources or closely related field and Experience: Two or more years of payroll human resources benefit administration or related experience Or Any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
