***LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY***🚨 Interim / Contract-to-Hire Opportunity – Accounting Manager📍 Location: San Antonio, TX🏢 Schedule: Onsite 4–5 days per week⏳ Duration: 2–3+ month interim engagement with potential contract-to-hire opportunity💲 Compensation: $65–$75/hour W2Project OverviewOur client, a private equity backed organization has a portfolio company in within the field services of the construction and logistics industry seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support accounting operations, financial reporting, forecasting, and business partnership initiatives during a period of continued growth.About the Role:This is a highly visible accounting leadership opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, cash forecasting, and supporting operational leadership.Key Responsibilities:• Lead month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting• Assist with preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP• Support budgeting, forecasting, pro forma modeling, and cash flow forecasting• Strengthen accounting controls, policies, and process improvements• Partner with operations leadership to support business performance and decision-making• Assist with annual audit preparation and compliance initiatives• Analyze accounting data to identify inaccuracies, variances, and process gaps• Develop management and operational reporting• Utilize accounting systems and technology to improve efficiency and maintain accurate recordsQualifications:✔ Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices✔ Experience with month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting✔ Knowledge of financial analysis and cash forecasting✔ Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems✔ Experience with Sage 100 or other Sage platforms preferred✔ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability✔ Ability to operate effectively in a hands-on, collaborative environment✔ Prior leadership or managerial experience is a plusThis is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to make an immediate impact while supporting a growing organization focused on operational excellence and long-term success.
