Together, we can build great thingsResponsibilitiesExecute welding tasks using appropriate techniques such as MIG, TIG, or Stick welding.Clean, prepare, and set up workpieces for welding, including grinding, cutting, and positioning metal components.Safely operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.Join metal components or parts together according to specifications provided in blueprints or work orders.Inspect welded joints visually and using measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored when not in use. All other duties assigned by site leadership.QualificationsMinimum 1 Year of welding experienceHigh School Diploma or EquivalentWelding and Stick Certification RequiredWelding Hood Required (Not Provided)Applicants are required to complete a welding qualification test during the application process.Knowledge of equipment safety processes Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and leadership within the team. Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling of material weighing 50 lbs. Ability to squat, crawl and work in awkward positions and confined spaces. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation.Unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper/lower back, visual acuity, depth, and color perception. Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
