Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Mechanic Shop Assistant to support our shop manager in maintaining and repairing small engines and light equipment, including bobcats and lulls. This role is ideal for someone with basic mechanical experience who is comfortable working with hand and power tools and performing general shop duties.Responsibilities:Assist shop manager with repairs and maintenance on small engines, bobcats, lulls, and related equipmentPerform basic mechanical tasks such as oil changes, part replacements, lubrication, and inspectionsUse hand tools and small power tools safely and effectivelyClean, organize, and maintain the shop and work areasLoad, unload, and move equipment and parts as neededIdentify and report mechanical issues or safety concernsFollow all safety procedures and company policiesPerform other general shop duties as assignedWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly pay: $23-$25 per hourConsistent daytime schedule (no nights or weekends)Opportunity to gain hands-on mechanical experienceStable work environment with a supportive team401K with company matchHealth and dental insurancePTORequirementsSome mechanical experience required (small engines or equipment preferred)Basic knowledge of hand tools and shop equipmentAbility to follow instructions and work well as part of a teamStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailAbility to lift heavy parts and work in a shop environmentValid driver's license preferred6:00am to 2:30pm shiftSalary Description
