Quality Assurance Engineer

Its mission is to serve and strengthen the nuclear industry, and its vision is to provide for and protect our world.Role Description• The Quality Assurance Engineer supports the implementation and execution of Master Machine’s quality assurance program across nuclear, DoE, DoD, and AS9100/ISO 9001 projects. • This role ensures all work meets customer, regulatory, and internal QA program requirements through pre-job reviews, in-process verification, audit support, and documentation control. • This role is evaluated on two equally weighted dimensions: competency, or what you do, and culture, or how you do it.WHAT You’ll OwnQA Program Execution & Compliance• Review purchase orders, travelers, procedures, plans, drawings, and QAPs before work starts, ensuring requirements are clearly flowed down into work packages. • Verify work is performed according to procedures, contracts, and customer requirements, includingoversight of welding, machining, NDT, and other inspection activities.• Review and verify anomaly reports and nonconformances, support root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to closure.• Help maintain controlled documents, calibration records, and quality records to ensure traceability and retrievability.Inspection Oversight & Data Packages• Execute witness and hold points identified in work travelers and provide oversight for in-processinspections.• Support receiving inspection of parts and consumables and maintain QA-controlled inventory.• Compile and review pre-shipment data packages for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with customer-specific formatting and content requirements.Audit Support & Customer Interface• Support internal and external audits, including customer, regulatory, and third-party audits, and assist in responses to audit findings.• Interface with customers and the Authorized Nuclear Inspector on quality-related topics, representing Master Machine’s quality program with professionalism.• Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes as the business grows.HOW You WorkAt Fusion Enterprises, the core values are described as five pillars that define who the company is and how it operates.
