Packhouse General Staff

Role Overview:Packhouse General Staff support post-harvest operations by sorting, grading, packing, and preparing produce for shipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality, food safety, and efficient order fulfillment.Key Responsibilities:Sort, grade, and pack produce according to quality standards and customer specificationsAssemble cartons, clamshells, and packaging materials accuratelyLabel, weigh, and palletize finished productMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and packhouse areasFollow food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures at all timesAssist with receiving, staging, or loading product as neededReport quality issues, equipment problems, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly____________Qualifications & Skills:Prior packhouse, warehouse, or production experience preferred but not required; training providedAbility to perform repetitive tasks with speed and accuracyComfortable working in cool or temperature-controlled environmentsAbility to work in a fast-paced production settingTeam-oriented with strong attention to detail and reliability____________Physical Demands:Stand and walk for extended periodsFrequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motionsLift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds, with or without assistanceWork at heights using approved platforms or liftsWork in warm, humid greenhouse conditions____________Why Join Pluck'd:Pluck'd is on a mission to grow produce differently - smarter, fresher, and more sustainably.
