Display Fabrication Painter

We’re seeking a skilled Painter with hands-on experience delivering high-quality finishes across automotive, display, and custom fabrication projects. Our work spans experiential fabrication, brand activations, scenic builds, themed environments, pop-ups, and custom installations, so versatility and attention to detail are key.Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMLocation: Southgate, MICompensation: $25/hour, plus health benefits and 401(k) with company matchKey ResponsibilitiesApply high-quality finishes across a variety of materials and project typesMix and match paints to meet precise color specificationsEfficiently prime, prep, and mask components for paintingFill, sand, and refine surfaces using body fillersPrepare surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish qualityMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workspaceCollaborate with production teams to meet project timelines and deadlinesExecute all steps of the refinishing process with consistency and careSupport additional shop tasks as neededQualifications2–5 years of experience in automotive painting, display fabrication, or similar environmentsExperience with wood finishing is a plusStrong color-matching ability and eye for detailProficiency with sanding techniques and spray equipmentAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyPhysically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.Strong communication and teamwork skillsDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship
