Caterpillar Morton Backorder ExpediterShift - 1st/Day ShiftLocation - On-SiteSchedule - Standard work schedule to be provided by leader.Salary Range - $20.05- $23.30 Per HourJob Summary: Expedite Caterpillar Morton backorder parts. Review and release backorders as needed working closely with Inventory control. Support Service department as needed. Help maintain daily backorder report.Essential Functions:Expedite assigned Morton back orders.Avoid customer service delays.Handle all orders within required deadlines and cut-off times.Manage Parts Kits and Shop HUC areas in support of the warehouse and service departments.Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures and standards.Additional Responsibilities:Review and adjust backorders.Follow-up on items not received from CAT depots.Handle customer billing of special handle orders.Work with warranty claims office to submit claims.Maintain daily activity log on all calls and e-mail communications.Prepare assigned reports as required.Works within and promotes corporate values.Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Must have interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customer and to solve customer problems in a professional manner.Must have math skills sufficient to effectively perform job duties.Ability to maintain consistent attendance.Education and Experience:Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).Years' experience working with CAT equipment parts.Prefer some parts experience.Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and talk or hear.The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop and kneel.The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.This position is designated as a "Safety-Sensitive Position".
