Network Engineer

PPLIED focuses on solving hiring challenges from both sides through one streamlined, user-friendly platform.Role Description This full-time remote Network Engineer role focuses on ensuring the stability, security, and performance of PPLIED’s network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain network architectures to support platform reliability and scalability. Daily tasks include configuring network hardware and software, monitoring performance, diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues, and optimizing traffic flow. The role also involves implementing and maintaining network security controls, collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, and documenting network configurations and procedures. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement of network operations and support incident response and change management processes.Qualifications Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design to architect, deploy, and optimize scalable, reliable network solutions.Proficiency in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and related systems.Advanced Troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose and resolve network performance, availability, and connectivity issues efficiently.Solid understanding of Network Security principles and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network architectures.Experience with TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), VLANs, QoS, and load balancing in cloud or hybrid environments.Familiarity with major cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their networking services is highly beneficial.Ability to create clear documentation, follow change management processes, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+) are a plus.Note : We are hiring for our partners.
