Job SummaryPlease read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.Support the Lead Speech Therapists in treating children diagnosed with speech and language impairments.General AccountabilitiesAssist in formulating treatment plans for children with speech and language impairments.Provides education to patients and their families regarding appropriate communication techniques and strategies to effectively manage the impairment.Documents session notes and maintains client records to support evaluation, monitor treatment progress, and facilitate client discharge.Performs administrative responsibilities, coordinates paperwork, writes lesson plans and schedules case management activities and/or any other appropriate patient information and/or recordkeeping for administrative, billing and caseload purposes.Develops individual and/or group activities and/or programs to manage behavior, speech and language problems.Participates in and writes reports for meetings regarding patients' progress.Children's Language Center, LLC reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.Weekend availability required.Job QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's DegreeValid Texas Speech Language Pathologist Assistant LicenseExperience: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures with 2-5 years of related experience.SkillsExcellent verbal and written communicationService orientationActive listeningInstructingMonitoringCritical thinkingCompany DescriptionChildren's Language Center, LLC is a dynamic pediatric speech therapy clinic dedicated to providing quality therapeutic services to underserved and underrepresented communities. xevrcyc Company DescriptionChildren's Language Center, LLC is a dynamic pediatric speech therapy clinic dedicated to providing quality therapeutic services to underserved and underrepresented communities.
