Skip & Loss Prevention Specialist
The Skip and Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for investigating and preventing financial losses within the company, typically related to first payment defaults, repossessions, account repurchases and charge offs. This is accomplished with skip tracing, and target calling campaigns.Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM CST; 1 Saturday per month, with a weekday off that week **Essential FunctionsSkip tracing to include TLOs and internet research for assigned accountsReceive inbound collections & 2nd voice callsMonitor email inboxes and update account or respond to customer as appropriateMake outbound dials from calling queues to resolve customer accountsSpot trends on first payment defaults and report information to the Resolution TeamAssist in answering appropriate overflow ring group callsRequired Education And ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required2 years of customer service experience requiredFinancial industry experience preferredBilingual (English and Spanish) candidates beneficialAttention to detail and accuracy requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredProficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to thrive in a fast paced work environmentPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, visualize, talk, hear, and handle or touch objects or controls. The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.This position is an office-based position where you must be able to sit for long periods of time. The employee will be working on a computer 90% of the time.
