Short Description
IGT is seeking a tax professional to join its global tax function in a Manager-level role, based in Reno or Las Vegas, Nevada. This position will support the quarterly and annual tax provision process, financial reporting, and tax compliance activities.
The role will contribute to driving timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency across the income tax lifecycle, while partnering cross-functionally with stakeholders in Finance, Legal, and Accounting. The position will also support responses to audits and ad-hoc tax-related inquiries.
Responsibilities
ASC 740 Tax Provision Support: Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions
Financial Reporting: Support preparation of tax-related disclosures (10-K, 10-Q)
Tax Compliance: Coordinate U.S. federal and state income tax filings with external advisors
Canadian Tax Compliance: Assist with Canadian filings as applicable
Forecasting & Planning: Support tax forecasting in collaboration with FP&A
Audit Support: Assist with external audits and tax-related documentation
Tax Audits & Inquiries: Support responses to tax authority requests
SOX / Internal Controls: Maintain SOX-compliant tax processes and documentation
External Advisor Coordination: Work with external tax providers
Cross-functional Communication: Partner with internal stakeholders on tax matters
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's in Tax or CPA preferred)
6–10 years of experience in corporate income tax (ASC 740 & U.S. compliance exposure)
Public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or multinational corporate experience
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and tax tools (CorpTax a plus)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

That's why our starting compensation range is $148,000 to $160,000 USD, with room to go higher or lower depending on the full picture. We also follow all local pay laws and collective bargaining agreements, so everything's above board.
