Psychiatrist - Addiction Response Team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem seeks a board-certified psychiatrist with experience or eligibility in addiction medicine. The role involves providing clinical care to patients with substance abuse disorders across the hospital, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and potentially treating patients in the Addiction Clinic. Responsibilities Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to address the clinical needs for patients presenting with substance abuse disorders on all non‑psychiatric services. Provide clinical care in the Addiction Clinic as necessary. Day shift available. Qualifications Board Certification in General Psychiatry Board Eligible or Board Certified in Addiction Medicine License to practice medicine in New York State Wages and Benefits Annual Base Salary: $255,900* (board eligible); $266,200* (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. Estimated total compensation: $425,490** (board eligible) and $436,820** (board certified), including base salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors. Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week: $104,000***. Projected bonus up to $40,000, contingent on meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) Company Contribution: Immediately vested 3% of base earnings; no employee match. After one year: additional 7% of base earnings; no employee match. Annual CME reimbursement. Generous annual paid time off.
