We would like to know if you are interested or can recommend someone interested in this job. QA Automation EngineerLocation: New York  Duration: 12+ MonthsF2F interview Job DescriptionDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright (preferred) & (Selenium, Cypress) Develop automated test scripts for UI, API, and end-to-end testing Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines Ensure high test coverage and maintain test data management Capital Markets DomainUnderstand and validate workflows related to:Equities, Fixed Income, DerivativesTrade lifecycle (Order → Execution → Settlement) Market data, pricing, and risk calculations Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately tested Validate front-office, middle-office, and back-office systems API & Backend TestingPerform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured Validate data integrity across microservices and databases Work with messaging systems (Kafka, MQ) where applicable Quality Assurance & TestingCreate detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives DevOps & CI/CDIntegrate test automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) Support continuous testing in Agile delivery environments Monitor test execution and reporting Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required
