2nd shift CNC Operator/Programmer

NKB in Sand Lake, MI, is looking for experienced CNC programmers/machinist, and lead programmer/machinist, to complete our 2nd Shift. We are looking for a highly motivated applicants that are willing to hold themselves to a high standard of work and proficiency. *Job description* Primary Responsibilities: * Setup, program, and operate the 2d, 3/5-axis CNC machines * Quality checking machined parts, calculating dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers * Read prints and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing * Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations * Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines * _*2nd Shift Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4:00pm-4:30am.*_ * Additional 2nd Shift Premium pay Qualifications and Skills * CNC programming/operating experience, * Fluent WorkNC Experience as well as CAM Software is preferred * Experience with FANUC and or Milltronics controls is preferred * Effective communication and conflict resolution skills * Must possess strong work values; Dependability, honesty, self-confidence and a positive attitude, open-minded, willing to learn new techniques * A minimum of 2 years of 3/5-axis experience * High School Diploma or equivalent is required' 'Work Location: *One location* * *Yes* Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) 6% Match * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Profit sharing * Vision insurance Experience: * 3/5 axis CNC machining: 2 years (Required) Shift availability: * Night Shift (Required) * Overnight Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: * Sand Lake, MI (Required) Work Location: In person
